I won't say too much about this one as it seems everything I could say would end up being a spoiler. Follow the journey of Mrs. Victoria Harrington as she navigates the dark twisted world of high society. Her 'husbands' business dealings include a contract for her hand in marriage to settle a debt for her step-father or was it?
Young, naïve and somehow turned on by the highly powerful Stewart she signed on the dotted line. Ambiguous language in the contract rears it's ugly head and soon she finds herself forced into doing things she never wanted.
She learns how to play the players - or does she? There are so many twists and turns you will find yourself saying what the hell? I didn't see that one coming! Will she come out on top? You will have to check it out to see!
Loved this story! The beginning felt a bit slow but once I got 30% into it I was sucked in! The end all happened so fast and felt a bit rushed. Plenty of twists and turns along the way will keep you enthralled and begging for more!
Although this is a standalone and the last I hear we will see of Victoria, Travis, Stewart etc.. there will be more books in this series 'Tales From The Dark Side'. I can't wait for more!
